Outwardly Conrad (Rad) Sanders is an ordinary guy, an English professor at a Midwestern university. His students and colleagues have no clue who he really is — the Professor of Death, a sadistic killer who stalks and tortures women and girls. Rad is good at what he does, but when he targets fifteen-year-old Lu Jakes, he encounters an adversary beyond anything he could imagine. You can read all about Rad and Lu in TALION.
The Kindle edition of TALION is on sale for just 99 cents until October 27.
To honor Rad and celebrate Halloween, I’m hosting a drawing for a unique Professor of Death prize pack. It’s free to enter. The winners will receive the following goodies:
FIRST PRIZE: The Professor of Death prize pack, including
- a brand-new DVD of the documentary Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer
- a hardback edition of Ann Rule’s true-crime classic The Stranger Beside Me (used)
- a brand new deck of casino quality serial killer playing cards
- autographed paperback copies of both TALION and DAEMON SEER.
SECOND PRIZE: An autographed paperback copy of either TALION or DAEMON SEER. Winner’s choice.
Directed by Nick Broomfield, Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer covers the trial, appeal, and execution of Aileen Wuornos, a prostitute who murdered her customers. She was one scary woman. The copy on the DVD case includes a quote from Peter Travers, reviewer for Rolling Stone: “her eyes, radiating madness, will haunt your dreams.”
Ann Rule worked with Ted Bundy at a crisis clinic. The Stranger Beside Me follows her journey as she tracks a brutal killer and discovers the truth about the man she thought she knew. In the Preface she writes, “Ted Bundy was my friend, through all the good times and the bad times. I stuck by him for many years, hoping none of the innuendo was true.” Although used, the hardback is in excellent condition with only minor wear on the dust cover. Great reading!
The serial killer playing cards are beautifully made by Bicycle — perfect for solitaire or your next poker night. Creep out your opponents! See who calls your bluff while Ted is smiling up at them from the table.
